Lynette has acquired over 15 years’ extensive experience within the South African rail industry. She has  an understanding of rolling stock related products and operations.  She possess intellectual flair and personal drive to deliver on what  key customers and business  stakeholders require. She is  passionate about  marketing and understanding customers needs,ensuring that the customers key strategic initiatives are incorporated within the business. She has the ability to communicate at any level and  prides herself in building long lasting relationships with key decision makers within the corporate environment.



 Gerrit Bruwer  

Gerrit has been actively involved in Law Enforcement and investigations for many years. Having spent 18 years in the South African Police Service, with units such as Commercial Crime, Organised Crime and Asset Forfeitment. After leaving SAPS, he was employed at one of the leading corporate law firms within South Africa. Afterwhich he became founding member and established a forensic company called Nexus Forensics. Gerrit has the ability of handeling of confidential information and applying the ethical rule, taking ownership of problems and offering solutions rather than just identifying problems and establishing a high standard of business conduct and adhering to the code of business

CU Live was established in November 2007 to provide professional, innovative and cost-effective off site monitoring solutions to our clients.  Fundamental to the success of CU Live is that we have established the ability to correctly translate information captured on the monitoring systems to our clients.

CU Live’s most valued assets are our intellectual capital and human resources.  We have employed individuals who have both retail experience and who have the necessary expertise to conduct risk management within the retail environment.  Our CCTV operators in the camera monitoring centre are fully trained and experienced surveillance operators.

Compared to other role-players in the off site monitoring arena, CU Live has a considerable technological advantage, in that the use of terrestrial cabling systems is obviated.

We understand both the disease and its symptoms. The major emphasis of our business focuses on shrinkages experienced in the private and corporate retail environment. Theft often occurs when an individual experiences pressure to commit theft and weak controls (or oversight) provide an opportunity to commit theft.



We currently have 52 full-time employees.

Our employees are carefully chosen based on their level of experience, professionalism, mannerisms, aptitude and Psira skills and grading.. We strive to find the right fit the first time so our clients can be assured of continuity of security personnel. While our turnover rate is among the lowest in the industry, in the event of an absence or emergency, we maintain a team of highly trained officers on stand-by, and our responsive management will do whatever is needed to see to it that our clients' security needs are continuously met or exceeded.

All of our officers undergo complete and thorough background checks, including criminal record, fingerprinting and drug testing. They are professionally trained.

When necessary, we employ the services of polygraph experts, voice stress analysis and or handwriting analysis to assist with investigations.

    Surveillance is performed using the methodology of pure surveillance, based on the assessment of video material analysed for suspicious or surreptitious activity, using defined psychological profiling.

    Problems encountered are addressed immediately and the operators work closely with management of the stores by way of voice over IP phones. Incidents are immediately cut to CD to ensure speedy actions.
