Gerrit Bruwer has been actively involved in law enforcement and investigations for nearly two decades. He served 18 years with the South African Police Service (SAPS), where he was attached to specialist units including Commercial Crime, Organised Crime, and the Asset Forfeiture Unit.

Following his tenure at SAPS, Gerrit joined one of South Africa’s leading corporate law firms, further strengthening his expertise in forensic investigations, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. He subsequently became a founding member of Nexus Forensics, a specialist forensic investigation company.

In 2007, Gerrit founded C-U-Live, bringing together his extensive operational, investigative, and leadership experience to deliver professional security and risk-management solutions.

Gerrit is highly regarded for his ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion, apply strong ethical principles, and uphold the highest standards of business conduct.

He is solution-driven, takes ownership of challenges, and consistently focuses on delivering practical, effective outcomes while adhering strictly to codes of ethics and professional governance.

Anthea Galant is our Administration and Financial Manager and has been a valued member of the C-U-Live team for the past 9 years. Her journey with us is one of dedication, perseverance, and growth. Anthea started at entry level and, through consistent hard work, integrity, and attention to detail, worked her way up to the leadership position she holds today.

Committed to continuous personal and professional development, Anthea obtained a Higher Certificate in Paralegal Studies in 2022. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Laws (BA Law) degree, which she is set to finish in 2026. Her strong administrative skills, financial expertise, and legal knowledge make her an integral part of our management team and a key contributor to the success of C-U-Live.

With over 15 years of experience in the security industry, Renier Henn brings unmatched knowledge, leadership, and hands-on expertise to the CULIVE team. His career began as a security technician, where his technical insight and strong work ethic quickly set him apart. Through dedication and determination, Renier steadily advanced to management, where he has spent several years successfully leading teams and optimizing operations. Renier is widely respected for his practical approach to problem-solving and his unwavering commitment to excellence. His leadership style balances professionalism, innovation, and genuine care for the success of both clients and staff. Today, he continues to drive CULIVE’s mission forward—ensuring service quality, operational efficiency, and peace of mind across every site under his management.

Fanie started his career within the South African Police in 1987 where he was promoted to officer (Captain) before leaving the SAPS during 2005.

He gained widespread experience within Crime Prevention, Crime detection, Crime Scenes Management, Investigations, Interviewing and Risk Assessments. He therefore understands the criminal law and judicial system. Fanie obtained his National Diploma in Police Administration with subjects like Criminal Law, Law of Criminal Procedures & Evidence, Investigation of Crime. After leaving the SAPS he joined the Banking Sector where he investigated numerous criminal syndicates targeting the financial sector. Fanie has more than 30 years’ experience within the investigation environment. During his career Fanie testified in numerous court cases in different magistrate courts throughout South Africa.

With 15 years of experience and extensive technical training, Neels is a highly skilled Technician, specialising in the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of all types of electronic security systems.

Raised within the Overberg Region, Neels matriculated from Caledon High School and entered the electronic security industry in 2010. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation for his technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and client-focused approach.

Nikki Felgate serves as the Operational Manager for the Gauteng region and has been a valued member of the C-U-Live team for the past 18 years. With an impressive 27 years of experience in retail risk operations, Nikki brings deep industry knowledge and practical expertise to the organisation.

From the outset, Nikki demonstrated exceptional commitment, professionalism, and leadership capability, earning a position within the management team in just two years. Her strong work ethic and hands-on approach have consistently contributed to operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Nikki is a self-motivated and dependable professional who takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality results. Her dedication, resilience, and attention to detail truly embody the saying: “Dynamite comes in small packages.”

After matriculating in Pretoria Louis joined the South African Police, working in the Cape Town and Hermanus areas.

He joined the medical industry until he started in the security industry in 2016 as a sales representative.

He joined the CULive team in 2023 and has never been more happy with his new company and colleagues. “CULive has very high demands and I am always up for a challenge!”

Samantha Vivier serves as the Office Manager for our Grabouw operations, bringing with her over eight years of hands-on experience in the security environment. As a former business owner, Samantha has developed a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to successfully manage and grow a business—from operations and client relations to service delivery and accountability.

Her entrepreneurial background has equipped her with strong leadership skills, sound decision-making abilities, and a results-driven mindset. Samantha is deeply passionate about community engagement and firmly believes in working within the community, for the community, ensuring that security solutions are both effective and locally responsive.

She places great emphasis on building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding that trust and reliability are the foundation of long-term partnerships.

Tiaan Vivier serves as the Operational Manager for our Grabouw Operations. Tiaan is highly experienced and with over 14 years of expertise within the private security industry, specialising in Tactical Response and VIP protection. As a former security company owner, he brings strong leadership, operational insight, and strategic thinking to his role.

Tiaan plays a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring that all activities are executed with precision, efficiency, and professionalism. His combined experience in both field operations and management enables him to approach complex security challenges with confidence and a proactive mindset.

He is widely recognised for his attention to detail, ability to perform under pressure, and commitment to maintaining high service standards.
